This is a very interesting place to visit in Rome if you want to get away from the huge crowds at some of the other sites. I enjoyed learning about the history of the friars. The crypt was the highlight of the tour, the designs made from the bones of nearly 4000 monks are unbelievable. Definitely recommend a visit here.

Absolutely worth the time and money. Learning about the history of the men that have lived here, and then seeing the crypt itself was unlike anything I've seen in my life. Great experience for the price, make sure to have your shoulders covered though! (Dress code out of respect for the religion)

The crypt and museum are 8€. The museum was fairly interesting and served as a nice introduction to the Cappuccin monks with interesting relics. The audio guide was helpful, but seemed to ramble quite often. We skipped a few audioguide entries in the museum. The crypt was, as everyone here agrees, spectacular. The bones of 3,700 artfully arranged in small rooms. These small rooms can get pretty crowded if you happen to encounter a tour group. The staff is also friendly. We ran into Steven Tyler on our visit and the staff were very courteous to him and did not go celebrity-crazy. This is definitely a must-see in Rome.

I was expecting it to be bigger and to feel a dark energy inside, but it was not the case. There you can see what the human mind can conceive when it comes to bene art. It is something one has to see one time in a lifetime.

The museum is fairly interesting, but the "crypt" is rather small. Only about 6 rooms. Still an interesting experience. Do note that you need shoulders and knees covered to enter.
